Our route to enlightenment

Here is our route. We're in Miami for 1 week, Cancun for 1 week, 8 weeks in Rio, Santiago for 1 day, New Zealand for 4 days, Sydney for 5 and Indonesia and Thailand for the final 8 weeks.

Setting the scene

Zow: Welcome to our gap year travels every one! We’re using this web site as a journal for our 5 month round the world adventure which begins on the 4th April ’05 when we set out from London, England. Just to introduce the travellers…

Z: Hi I’m Zenna, camera dude numero uno
O: I’m Oran, team leader and secondary camera man
W: and I’m Willem, the "go to guy", backbone of the group...but not a camera man

Zow: Our journey will take us across no less than 4 continents, 10 different countries, and all 24 time zones. We will update the site regularly with our experiences and photographs. If you’d like to send us a message to say ‘hello’, ‘hows it going’, ‘where are you now’, ‘don’t forget to take your malaria tablets’, ‘you left your passport in your bedroom’ then knock yourselves out, use the comments feature. We’ll try and keep it interesting, thought provoking and inspiring…but we’ll probably fail. If we haven’t posted for a while then we are likely to be in grave danger, in which case we ask you to at least wait for our mortal remains to be brought back to England before you start fighting over who gets to inherit our belongings. If we’re being held ransom, then you better dig very deep and put a collection together to buy us back.

So, sit back, relax and enjoy the adventure, because the greatest show is Earth.
